For assembly and fitting I work together with Peter Eisma Houtwerk in Groningen and Vlasman Jachtbetimmeringen in Sneek.

[ The craft behind the model ]

A cabinetmaker first

Tobias completed his cabinetmaker training in 1987 and learned the trade building classic yacht interiors, wooden decks included. In 1997 he opened his own workshop in Groningen; in 2005 he closed it to work full-time as a 3D specialist.

That practical experience is in every drawing — which is why a healthy mix of CNC and traditional handwork, not CNC alone, is what he recommends for custom-built yachts.
